Static Step

"Static Step" is constructed using bent and welded steel rod treated with a solution to create a rust patina and finished with a flat clear top coat. The sculpture focuses on line, form and negative space to suggest a portion of the human figure. Though static, the voids and linear elements create a sense of anticipation and movement.
